Neena Pacholke, a former point guard for the women's basketball team at the University of South Florida, passed away on August 27.
The 27-year-old has been a Wisconsin morning anchor for News 9.
The situation is still being investigated, but the police department does not suspect foul play and the police have not yet determined the exact cause of death.
On social media, Neena Pacholke's sister Kaitlynn stated that she wants to "wake up from this living nightmare" and that her sister's death doesn't feel real.
She stated, "I know my heart is broken into a million pieces and it will never be whole again.
The USF Women's Basketball team posted a statement on August 29 saying, "The Bulls are heartbroken to learn of the tragic demise of our dear former player Neena Pacholke (2013-16).
