Twitter Chairman Bret Taylor declared, "The Twitter board is committed to finalising the acquisition on the price and terms agreed upon with Musk, and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement.
Musk announced that he will withdraw his $44 billion bid to purchase Twitter after discovering that the company had not provided sufficient details on the amount of fraudulent accounts.
